What AI can do in a treasury
A general-purpose assistant can explain working capital, but it doesn't know how much cash your company will have on Tuesday. In treasury, AI earns its place when it answers from the company's own data: balances, forecast, debt, limits, currencies.
Aria is FLIQO's assistant and works on that data. It answers questions, sums up where cash stands, builds analysis and prepares repetitive tasks. What it doesn't do is decide about money: that stays with the people the company authorizes.
Questions about cash, in plain language
You can ask Aria, among other things:
- How much cash there is today, how much is available and how much is restricted.
- Which days in the coming weeks the balance drops below the minimum reserve.
- How much funding is needed month by month and how much is left on credit lines.
- Which debt payments are coming up, which are overdue and which rate fixing is missing.
- Which banks are close to their limit and whether today's control has been signed.
- What the position is in each currency and how much of it is hedged.
- Which investments mature and when.
- Which estimates haven't been updated in a while and who owns them.
Aria answers with the same data the screens show. If a figure hasn't been loaded, it says so instead of filling the gap with a made-up number.
People and agents, under the same rules
In FLIQO, a treasury task can be done by a person on screen or by Aria in a conversation, and either way it goes through the same rules: the same roles and profiles the company defines for its team, the same validations and the same dual control. Aria has no permissions of its own: it acts with those of the person it's working for and can never do more than they can. If that person has no access to an account or a module, neither does Aria. Every action is logged under the name of whoever requested it, and each company's data is isolated from every other company's.
That means bringing in AI doesn't require designing a second security model: the one the company already has for its people is the one that governs its agents.
Work Aria prepares and a person confirms
Aria can also take on tasks that eat up hours today:
- Proposing which statement movements match which estimates.
- Approving, in bulk, the forecast proposals that belong to the person asking.
- Preparing transfer orders between accounts.
- Sending reminders to the owners of stale estimates.
Before any change, Aria shows exactly what it's about to do and waits for the person to confirm. Operations the company puts under dual control also need a second person's signature, and Aria never signs. The highest-risk operations, such as those that move money irreversibly, aren't available from the chat.
The morning summary
Aria can send a short summary every morning: where cash stands overall, the day's key facts, the approvals and reviews waiting on the person who receives it, and one concrete recommendation. If that person signs the daily limit control, the summary reminds them of the cutoff time. The company turns it on, and each person decides whether to receive it.
Dashboards you ask for in conversation
You ask Aria for the analysis you need and it builds a dashboard from FLIQO's data. You then adjust it by talking or by moving the pieces, and every change goes into a history you can roll back. The same dashboard shows each person only the data their access allows.
Plain-language readings
On the risk dashboard, Aria opens with a summary of today's main liquidity risk and what to do about it, before getting into the indicators.
From the tools the company already uses
FLIQO offers a read-only API so the company's corporate assistants can look up cash, funding and indicators. It uses the company's own authentication, respects each person's permissions and logs every query.
Frequently asked questions
Can Aria move money?
Not on its own. It can prepare an order, but a person confirms it, and operations under dual control need a second signature.
Are questions to Aria used to train AI models?
No. What you ask Aria and the data it uses to answer are not used to train models, neither FLIQO's nor those of the technology provider behind Aria.
What if Aria gets something wrong?
Aria answers from the system's data, not from its own calculations, and every answer can be checked against the matching screen. No change is applied without a person's confirmation.
Is there anything to set up?
The chat is available to roles with permission to use Aria. The morning summary is turned on per company and per person.
